Women who birth at home benefit from staying in their own familiar, comfortable environment.
In the United States, the number of women choosing homebirth has been increasing slowly but surely since 2004. We have been attending homebirths in Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts for many years. Our travel area extends to 30 miles from Milford, NH.
We also have birth pools available to rent for our homebirthing
families.
Families planning a homebirth will come to the Milford or Peterborough office for prenatal care visits. At 36 weeks gestation, the midwives will come to your home for a visit
and will provide you with a birth supplies kit.
As with birth center births, the first two postpartum visits will take place in your home.
